The 2008 Frost & Sullivan Industrial Technologies Awards will recognize outstanding performance by companies in the Smart Cards, RFID and Security, Electronics, Industrial Automation & Process Control, Energy & Power Systems, and Environment & Building Technologies industries, as well as new and emerging technologies across these industry sectors. The inaugural Industrial Technologies Awards were held in Singapore in 2006 and recipients at Asia Pacific level were recognized at a well-attended banquet. The 2007 Industrial Technologies Awards saw the inclusion of awards for the Aerospace and Defense industry as well. As it moves into its third year, the Industrial Technologies Awards has grown tremendously and this year more than 30 award titles will be presented at an exciting evening banquet. The Awards banquet will be held on April 24, 2008 at Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur. The companies commended as Award recipients are those with the diligence, perseverance, innovation and dedication required to develop a successful business plan and excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace. As Asian economies grow, companies will have to deliver increasing value to customers to stay as leaders.
